Camden Catholic High School, Cherry Hill, NJ – “The Experience is Everything.” 

Camden Catholic High School is located on a 33-acre campus in Cherry Hill, NJ. The school enrolls 1,038 students from 70 communities throughout southern New Jersey. Camden Catholic has a lot to offer, including excellent facilities. 

Camden Catholic High School states that the focus of their academic program is directed to the individual needs of each student. They offer a traditional yet flexible program that meets varying needs, incorporating different styles and techniques of instruction. The school offers 12 AP courses, and Honor classes for every subject. As outlined in the school’s brochure, students are challenged to reach beyond what they already know, and to become comfortable with critical thinking. They are proud of their above-average college entrance exam scores. 93% of the graduates go on to higher education. 

For the foreign language enthusiast, the school offers Spanish, German, French and Latin. They have school trips to Spain and French-speaking Canada. They currently have 8 international students enrolled, and look forward to having some from South Korea. 

The school’s sports program is huge, and they are higher ranked in Southern New Jersey’s athletics. They offer all of the traditional sports, along with Crew (rowing) and Lacrosse. Fine Arts is also big. Theatre is major, with a variety of Performing Arts Courses. Music is featured, with Jazz band, Show Band, Pop Band and Marching Band. The Visual Arts are also well represented. 

There is a long list of school clubs from which to choose, and students are encouraged to participate. There is something for everyone at Camden Catholic High School.

뉴저지 체리힐에 위치한 33 에이커의 캠퍼스! 대부분 뉴저지 남부에 거주하고 있는 1,038명의 학생이 재학 중이며 시설이 매우 훌륭하다. 캠든고등학교의 교육은 학생 개인의 다양한 특성과 필요에 각기 다른 스타일의 교육이 가능하도록 하는데 초점이 맞추어져 있다. 모든 과목에 Honor과정과 함께 12개의 AP과정이 개설중이다. 학생들이 정밀하고 합리적인 사고방식에 익숙하게 하도록 교육하며, 평균이상의 대입시험 점수를 자랑한다. 93% 이상의 졸업생들이 대학에 진학하고 있다. 

외국어에 초점을 둔 교과과정은 스페인어, 독일어, 불어, 라틴어과정이 개설되어 있다. 학교가 주최하는 여행은 스페인과 (불어권의)캐나다로 간다. 현재 8개국으로부터 외국학생들이 와 있고, 한국학생들도 곧 입학할 것으로 예상하고 있다. 

스포츠 프로그램은 막강해 남부 뉴저지 육상부문에서도 수위권을 마크하고 있다. 라크로스(하키), 로잉(보트레이스)등과 함께 거의 모든 종류의 전통적인 스포츠 프로그램이 있다. 그 외, 미술, 다양한 실험예술과정을 선보이는 극장, 음악, 재즈밴드, 쇼밴드, 팝밴드, 행진밴드 및 시각예술 등의 프로그램이 있다. 

학교클럽 활동도 매우 다양해 학생들의 참여가 가능하다. 캠든고등학교에서는 전교생이 참가할 수 있는 다양한 종류의 클럽활동이 있다.
